Four US cities - WASHINGTON

Capitol, one of the most prominent Washinton's landmarks, sits atop Capitol Hill.

Behind Capitol are situated Supreme Court of the US and also Library of Congress.

The cornerstone for the Capitol was laid by George Washington in 1793. It is a place where US Congress meets reguraly. Actually we saw Kerry passing close by and Bush was having a corn stake with a prime minister of Ireland. It was a St. Patrick's Day.

Constantino Brumidi fresco instide od the main dome.

This is the centre of the whole city of Washington. If you look at a map, you realize that streets are spreading to all directions from here.

A little demonstration against the government. How exciting :]

Marketka and the Capitol.

This is the National Museum of the American Indian.

Did you know how American Indians percieve space? Look at the pics :]

The White house.

Jefferson memorial.

Washington monumnet was built in 1848 but soon after that they run out of money. It was completed 37 years later. Well, better than Prague's St. Vitus cathedral inside of the Prague castle, which was finished about 1000 years later :]]

Washington is honestly filled mainly with memorials :] This is a Lincoln Memorial :]

... and president Lincoln/

Another speciality of Washingoton are War memorials - you are looking at Korean War Memorial.

Does Pavel have a new friend?

Inside of the botanical gardens :]

Take a delight to look on orchis flowers :]

I have counted curious visitors on this site :]
