Cleveland

I have posted some pictures from Cleveland, Ohio. We drove down with Peter (from Akron it takes about 45 minutes). Cleveland used to be a manufacturing and business centre of Nothern Ohio and it sure still is, but when you go throught the downtown of the city, you will see a lot of abandoned factories "for sale", etc. Once very vigorous city of Cleveland would need reenergize nowadays.

Downtown of Cleveland

New baseball stadium in the centre right next to Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame

Ivonka (if you accidentaly did not recognize me haha)

Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame - Museum of RnR music. It is really amazing - you can see lot of personal stuff of famous pop stars -outfits, pics, guitarrs, letters, than short movies about orgins of RnR, u can listen to old tapes,etc..

Who knows why "trabi" is so popular here...

I really enjoyed design of the building. It must be especially ipressive when life concerts are taking place here time to time.

Close by port on the Great Lake Erie

Some views of downtown...

Typical Mid-West/Nort-East houses.

Tomb of US president Garfield, who was assassinated in 1881, is on hilltop Cleveland cementary.
More about Garfield here.
